F.A.Q

1. When is the best time to schedule a newborn photography session?

A: The ideal time for a newborn photography session is within the first two weeks of birth, usually between 5-14 days old. During this period, babies are sleepier and more likely to curl up in those adorable poses. But I do photograph newborns up until 8 weeks the only thing to keep in mind is that baby will most likely be more alert and the outcome of photo will be a little different. But in any case baby leads the session and with love and patience I will capture sweet, beautiful and timeless photos.

2. How long does a newborn photography session typically last?

A: A newborn photography session usually lasts between 2-4 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and positioning the baby without rushing.

3. What should we bring to the session?

A: Bring extra diapers, wipes, a few outfits, a pacifier, and any special items you’d like included in the photos (such as a favorite blanket or toy). It's also helpful to bring extra milk or formula if you are bottle-feeding.

4. How should we prepare our baby for the session?

A: To prepare your baby, try to keep them awake for a little while before the session so they are more likely to sleep during the shoot. Feed and change them right before the session to ensure they are comfortable and content.

5. Can parents and siblings be included in the photos?

A: Absolutely! Including parents and siblings can make the photos even more special. We recommend coordinating outfits to complement each other without being too matchy-matchy.

6. What if my baby is fussy during the session?

A: It's completely normal for newborns to be fussy. We allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks. Your baby's comfort is our top priority, and we will work patiently to capture beautiful moments.

7. Do you provide props and outfits for the session?

A: Yes, we have a variety of props, wraps, blankets, and outfits available for use during the session. However, if you have any special items you'd like to include, feel free to bring them.

8. How do you ensure the safety of my baby during the session?

A: Safety is our top priority. We use safe posing techniques and always have an assistant or parent close by to support the baby. We never force a baby into a pose and always prioritize their comfort and well-being.

9. How long does it take to receive the photos after the session?

A: Typically, you will receive your edited photos within 2-3 weeks after the session. We will provide you with a gallery where you can view and select your favorite images.

10. What should we wear for the session?

A: We recommend wearing soft, neutral colors that coordinate well together. Avoid bold patterns and logos as they can be distracting. Simple and timeless outfits work best for newborn photography.
